In 2008, the energy demand increased by 3.0% in real terms, or + 14.6 TWh. In data corrected for the climate, the increase was + 2.1%, of which 0.3 points was due to the fact that 2008 was a leap year. By voltage class, the trends differ significantly since low voltage deliveries, still dynamic, increased by 6.6% in real terms, while the increase in high and medium voltage deliveries was only 0, 7%, the very bad economic situation having weighed heavily in the second half of the year.
